My story

Beautiful Ella was a neighborhood stray who was one of 8 cats rescued from the same property. Her estimated date of birth is 6/12/23. She was rescued at about 5 months of age and missed out on early social experiences with humans. The ideal, sensitive period to socialize cats with people is early in life at 4-8 weeks of age. After that, it takes longer and a patient someone who wants to give a home to a rescued animal and provide a loving, safe home. Every cat deserves a chance to know care and companionship. Ella is gentle and sweet but shy and afraid of humans. She will need time to acclimate to her new surroundings. She may hide for weeks or months. Ella is looking for a guardian who is patient, will go slowly, use positive reinforcement, provide a safe place and accept her quirks and who she is. Ella's coat is unusual with tabby brown, black and some orange. She healthy and is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.
