Chiquita IN FOSTER

My story

Chiquita is thought to be a Chihuahua Terrier mix estimated to be about 6 years old at just over 20 pounds with a beautiful curly tail.She is a goofy banana who is afraid of human touch but still wants love and adventure and comfy things! She would do best with another dog to keep showing her that the hoomans are alright, where to pee, how comfy the sofa is, etc. She does very well pottying outside.She gets so excited when she sees the leash! She now goes right to the front door and sits down, so we can put her harness on (though yes, much to her dismay it means we have to touch her). But it’s all worth it because she is a happy clam to go on walks! She jumps right in the car too as she does great on outings to the café, park, wine bar, etc. She’s content to sit and watch the world go by as long as it’s not too, too many people. She’s also very happy to snooze on the sofa with a little bit of her tongue almost always hanging out. When it’s time for bed, she comes right upstairs and jumps on up to settle in at the foot of the bed. And she LOVES food and treats! Nothing wrong with winning over her love with food! She’s come a long way from the hoarding situation she was saved from. She’s started chasing lizards and playing with toys, and she is ready for her furever home!Chiquita is up to date on shots, spayed, and heartworm negative.
