My story

Can we please be friends? -Donavan the cat. Following a quick jaunt east from Steeltown, Donavan, a handsome, brown and white tabby boy, is looking to make new friends with whom he can spend the rest of his life.ABOUT DONAVAN:-In foster-Adult, domestic shorthair/mix, male-He adjusted quickly to his first foster home, even choosing to chill on his foster mum`s lazy-boy chair on the first evening!-Donavan is friendly and often pretty chill (he even accepts his medication as if it were candy), with lots of affection to give.-Donavan prefers to spend most of his time near his foster family, never wanting to waste one minute of the action. He really loves his people, but he also loves to be near and play with everyone, including visitors!-Donavan comes running to his foster parents when they get home, and stretches up on their legs to give them head butts. He is always up for a good cuddle!-Whenever he`s preparing to run after the laser or a spring toy, he hunkers down and slightly raises his left paw before he pounces forward. Oh what fun you will have with this energetic boy!-He might become a bit overstimulated when being petted, so reading his body language and redirecting him when necessary will help channel his energy in a positive way.-Donavan is quite intrigued by what goes on outside, so his presence around any exits leading to the great outdoors will need to be carefully monitored.-Donavan is on a prescribed diet and daily medication to address skin irritation. -He loves nibbling on his cat grass, and there’s no hesitation for him to run after his kibble when his foster parents toss some for him to chase. Donavan enjoys his food, whatever the delivery method may be!-Donovan is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations. DONAVAN`S IDEAL HOME:-Given Donavan`s gentle nature, a quiet setting without young children would be preferable.-He would like to have a starring role as the sole cat in his new home. Are you eager to add some live entertainment right in the comfort of your very own home? Donavan might well be your `man.` Schedule a meet and greet today. If you have any questions about Donavan or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Donavan, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
