My story

Donavan says, “You’ve got a friend in me”.Following a quick jaunt east from Steeltown, Donavan, a handsome, brown and white tabby boy, is looking to make new friends with whom he can spend the rest of his life.ABOUT DONAVAN- In foster- Donavan is friendly and pretty chill, with lots of affection to give.- It takes Donavan no time at all to make himself at home wherever he lands. He isn’t scared, just very sweet, friendly, and confident.- He prefers to spend most of his time near his people, but also loves taking cat naps in his bed, in a nook, or on the couch, throughout the day.- Donavan tends to play more around dusk and at night, when his hunting instincts kick in. He loves springs, feathers, wands, and ribbons. If you really want him to run, throw a piece of kibble and watch how fast he moves!- Donavan can get overstimulated at times, and he will let you know, so be sure to pay attention to his body language. In case you don’t notice, he might give a small nip or tap to let you know that he wishes to move on. - Donavan is a curious cat and never leaves any door unchecked, so be sure to watch the door when you’re coming in or going out. He is usually just waiting to welcome you home, though. Isn’t that what friends are for? - Donavan loves nibbling on cat grass and getting brushed when he’s not napping or munching on his kibble.- He is on a prescribed diet and takes daily medication to address skin irritation.- Donavan is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.DONAVAN’S IDEAL HOME- Given Donavan`s gentle nature, a quiet setting without young children would be preferable.- He would benefit from living with an experienced cat adopter who is able to cater to his needs, read his cues, and help him to settle into a steady routine. But, this sweet boy is well worth the effort.- Donavan wants to have a starring role as the sole cat in his new home.
