My story

Meet Chai, a lovable seven-year-old small breed senior who is ready to find his forever family. Despite being in his golden years, Chai's heart is still as full of love as ever, and he has so much affection left to give. This sweet boy adores being around people and is happiest when he's snuggled up next to his favorite humans. Originally from Texas, Chai's gentle and loving personality makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm and affectionate friend. He may be a little older, but that just means he's full of wisdom and has already perfected the art of being the best cuddle buddy. Chai is ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love and care-could you be the one to give him the forever home he's been waiting for? This cutie resides at our Wantagh location and meetings are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting them, you must click "Apply for Adoption" to submit an online application. Once we receive your application, we will be in touch to schedule an appointment to meet them! Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and given their age-appropriate vaccines. This animal has big plans this weekend to attend our pop-up adoption event outside of our Wantagh adoption center, located at 3300 Beltagh Avenue, this Saturday 9/28 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM! If you are interested in meeting Chai, please submit an application online and we will contact you with more details on how to meet them at the event. If this animal does not get adopted from this event, they will be available for adoption by application at our Wantagh location.
