Meet Lavender - A Quiet Beauty with a Gentle Soul Lavender is a stunning young boy with a sleek, deep gray coat that shimmers in the light. He truly lives up to his name. This shy sweetheart spends his days peacefully watching the world go by from a cozy perch, completely mesmerized by birds, squirrels and the occasional mouse on "Cat TV." Lavender is a quiet, independent soul who enjoys the company of other cats but prefers to keep to himself when it comes to people - for now. He's not yet comfortable with being petted, but he will watch you with the softest, most thoughtful eyes that will steal your heart. He absolutely loves catnip, and treats are a sure way to his heart. While he's still learning to trust people, he's making progress every day with the help of his kind and patient caretakers. Lavender would thrive in a calm, understanding home with another friendly feline companion, maybe even his brother, Blackberry, who's also available for adoption! Blackberry is almost Lavender's twin with his sleek black fur coat. With time and love, we believe Lavender will continue to blossom into the gentle affectionate cat he's meant to be.
