My story

Toto is a crowd favorite at Hero Dog Rescue, and amazingly is still available for adoption! He is the total package, and waiting for the right family to find him, and vice versa. And...through the end of September his adoption fee is being paid by a donor who wants to help him find his forever family soon! Are you looking for a pup who is a wallflower, has no personality, could care less about people, and won't make you laugh? If so, then keep on looking because that sure isn't Toto! He is a happy, happy boy who adores people - young, old, and everyone in between. He likes other dogs, and can get a little excited around multiple dogs and tends to play a little rough sometimes. Hey, he's a big guy with a big bark, so does best with larger, playful dogs like him who won't feel intimidated by this big, gentle lug of a dog! He really shines when he's by himself with people. He is a love hog, and absolutely loves the attention he gets, which just relaxes him and lets him be his best. He is playful, funny, and can turn on the positive energy just as fast as he can dial it back and chill out at his people's feet, on his bed, or just about anywhere - as long as his peeps are nearby. He really is an absolute joy, and will be an amazing addition to a lucky family sometime soon. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
