My story

Beautiful Carmella is seeking an experienced adopter! Carmella came to us as a puppy, and has grown up at the pound, picking up some bad habits along the way. When it comes to other dogs, she has started showing some “reactivity”, being possessive over her food and toys, and needs help learning how to properly socialize.Carmella was found as a stray in July and has been in three homes since then.Home # 1 - returned after one dayHome # 2 - returned after several weeksHome # 3 - returned after one dayLuckily, Carmella is still young and we are hopeful that with consistent training and stern commands, Carmella can learn how to properly interact with people and other animals. Carmella would be a great candidate for a “crate and rotate” situation at home, or with somebody who works from home and can slowly integrate her into the pack. Carmella is NOT the type of dog you can instantly let run loose with your other dog(s).
