Arthur is the kind of dog who lights up a room with his goofy smile, wagging tail, and zest for life. One place he’s not loving, though, is the shelter. All the noise and commotion just aren’t his vibe, and he’s ready to burst out of here and into the loving arms of his forever family.Arthur would thrive with an active family who can help channel his excitement and continue teaching him how to be the very best boy. He loves to run, play with toys, and is always game for an adventure. Whether it’s a hike, a game of fetch, or a fun-filled day at the park, Arthur is your guy. And after all the fun? He’s happy to soak up every bit of attention and belly rubs you have to offer. Because of his spirited personality, he would need to meet any children in the home, and may thrive best with older kids who can join him in their playful adventures.Arthur was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `We took Arthur out for a fun sleepover, and he was such a good boy! Full of joyful energy, Arthur loved exploring the park and taking in all the new smells. He’s learning to walk nicely on a leash and does great with gentle reminders—especially when there are treats involved! With the warm weather, Arthur was happy to relax in the cool comfort of our home. He had no accidents and appears to be house-trained. He’s a big fan of toys—rope toys, balls, plushies, and chew bones were all hits! He especially loved playing fetch and proudly brought toys back for more. Arthur joined us on a couple of patio outings, where he charmed everyone he met with his handsome looks and polite manners. At home, he enjoyed some cozy crate time and even put himself to bed with the door open. This sweet boy is full of love and enthusiasm.
