My story

Me beautiful buttercup she found herself in a high kill shelter waiting for a chance a better life thankfully her foster mom fell in -This is what she as to say-Am writing to let you know that Buttercup is doing well an she is a very loving sweet dog. Buttercup loves walks, toys, and belly rubs. She knows how to take treats gently, and sit patiently to wait for the treat, she understands the hand command when told sit, and down. She will let you know when needing to go potty, she comes to you playfully seeking attention, make sure to offer to go outside in case her playfulness is due to wanting to go outside to relieve herself, otherwise she will enjoy burning energy by doing zoomies and running around, she is curios about other creatures and wants to chase after birds, rabbits, turtles, you name it. Just make sure that those creatures are safe around her, always walk her on a leash. She sleeps through the night comfortably on her bed, and goes for a walk in the morning, afterwards she gets a treat when she sits, and eats her meal of pellets and moist food mixed together. She had grown accustomed to have company at all times, so I don't know how she will do without someone at home with her. She will do great with a family that can take her with them places, she loves car rides and does very well in the car, she has gone for ice cream, and also sits patiently waiting if you are eating out, of course on a leash and secure to make sure that something unexpected doesn't makes her go running. She loves to meet people, and is eager to greet everyone she sees. Have not gotten a chance to see how she is with other dogs, but obviously she will want to be protective. I will certainly will want to keep Buttercup for ever if I had backup for someone to watch her and keep her company when am not around. For now I know that the perfect family for her should be loving people that have a big yard to let her run and burn energy, and take her for walks safely on a leash at all times, to prevent her from going after the wildlife or be wanting to meet other people and scared them with her enthusiasm. I should add that if you are sitting down she will lovingly wants to be near you to give you hugs and kisses.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Buttercup, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
