My story

Tiger Lily is a golden retriever as a cat! One of the cuddliest, people-loving cats her foster parents have ever encountered, Tiger Lily loves attention. If you stare at her for more than 5 seconds, she'll come running towards you, already purring, and spend lots of time squirming around and/or sleeping on your lap. She will not be satisfied until she gets every possible pet! Tiger Lily will follow you wherever you are. She could be in deep sleep and somehow still make it to your side within a minute. Tiger Lily LOVES to play! She loves playing with her foster parents and Duffi, but is especially keen on playing with toys on a string (her current favorite is a fluffy mouse on a string), puffballs, and springs. Though she's plenty entertained by herself and Duffi, Tiger Lily benefits from daily playtime. This kitty gets attached to her humans, so she's likely to follow you all around the house. Tiger Lily is generally just an extremely cuddly and people-loving cat! Her cuddle outbursts when she gets on your lap, rubs her face against yours, and squirms around for pets everywhere. She's the best buddy! She and Duffi would love a forever home with humans who are around Lily does not appreciate being alone for long periods of time, so we hope to place her in a forever home with humans who spend a good deal of time at home. Lily has always lived with other cats. Like most cats, Lily needs at least one feline companion. She would do well in a home with another young cat-friendly female. Tiger Lily and Duffi have bonded in the time that they've shared a foster home and would make great lifelong companions in their forever home. If you decide to adopt Lily, her foster mom says that you shouldn't think twice about your choice - she is an "amazing" companion, and "any family would be so lucky to have her". Lily will bring pure joy to your home. If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please. CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, foster@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiger Lily, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
