Roofus

My story

Roofus is a one-year-old, 58-pound, unique-looking mix found chained out with three other dogs by a group called "Off the Chain." Roofus, whose real name is Doofus,  belonged to the homeowner's daughter, who dumped him at the parent's house. The group offered a chain link enclosure to get them off the chains, but they no longer wanted to keep Roofus and threatened to turn him loose unless the group found another home for him. They watched for the next few days to ensure she was still there and realized they weren't giving him food and water. We took him, got him vetted, and he is now in our boarding. He is friendly with other dogs and also very social with people. Ironically, he seems to be housetrained, too. ##2189281##
