My story

Luna (spayed female)4 years - Pyrenees mix (50lbs)Surrendered due to moving/housingGave birth to puppies at the shelter and now ready for a home of her ownDescribed as active - affectionate - playfulLived inside - High energyCons: Escape artist - Jumps on people - Chews - Barks excessivelyPros: Rides in car - Playful - SmartKnows ShakeEnjoys catchGood w/ women, men, children and other dogsAdoption Fee: $20(sponsored by generous donor)From her foster:Luna is a very sweet and gentle dog. She wants to be petted and scratched on back and rear end. We`ve been working on training. To date, she has learned `sit` and will `come` when asked. She responds to commands with and without treats. We are still working with her to stay off the furniture and is starting to understand `no`.Luna had become a serious watch dog and if anyone comes to our gate or into our yard, she alerts. Doesn`t bite, but barks and bristles. She has been sleeping outside on the porch in her crate. Luna likes playing with her squeaky bone toy and tennis ball. She also loves to run around our large yard and roll in the grass. Luna is a serious mooch hound so do not leave any food out on the counter, table or any surfaces she can reach or she`ll grab and eat it. And she has a big reach!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Luna, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
