My story

Meet Oliver Riedel: A Playful Pup Seeking a New Home Oliver Riedel is a friendly, 40 lb pup who loves to be active.  The rescue lists his breed on their website as Miniature Dachshund, Doxel and Labrador Retriever. [I googled Doxel and found something close – Doxle is Dachshund Beagle mix.]  If breed is important to you, you could get him a DNA test as his first Christmas present after you adopt him . . . although, I can list a few other things he’d probably prefer (stuffed animals, balls, and apples) because he doesn’t really care to research his family tree.  He’s fine to just pee on it.   Why is Oliver Riedel looking for a new home?  Sadly, his family moved somewhere that doesn’t allow dogs.  Can you imagine?  I don’t’ even want to accidentally drive through that State, let alone MOVE there.      What makes Oliver Riedel a great dog? • Good with Kids: He's great with children and loves to play. • Energetic and Playful: He loves to be active and go on walks or play fetch. • Crate Trained and Housebroken: He's already learned some important house manners. A few things that foster mom is working on with Oliver: • Barking at Cats: Oliver can be barky around cats. • Leash Reactivity: He can be reactive towards other dogs on walks. Ready to give Oliver Riedel a loving home? If you're an active family with experience with dogs, Oliver Riedel may be the perfect addition to your household.
