My story

Hello my name is beck I am a German Shepard mix and am around a year old and weigh about 65 lbs. I do get along with other dogs but would prefer a female dog friend that could show me the ropes. I most likely wont do good with cats as they peak my interest a lot. I am a shy dog but warm up once I know you or if you have food. I am eager to learn and love food, I can be a little mouthy as I'm still young but I’m slowly not doing that anymore. Because I can be mouthy I would do better with older kids. I am learning many things here at the shelter and love to learn and interact with the people here. I love going for walks and getting to run around in the yard and chase toys. I know how to sit and lay down and am learning how to stay, come when called, place, drop it, and crate. If you are interested in meeting me please email to get an application. If you would like to meet him we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an application. Once we have an approved application on file, we will then schedule at time for you to come and meet him. His adoption fee is $250.00 that includes him being current on his vaccinations, microchipped, treated for fleas and treated for worms. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMay 15, 2025, 6:28 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Beck, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
