My story

Meet Crew—a black and white pit bull terrier with a big personality and a one-of-a-kind coat that’s sure to turn heads! With striking markings reminiscent of a zebra, black “pants,” and a white-tipped tail, Crew is as stylish as he is sweet. People often think he’s still a puppy thanks to his compact size and playful spirit, and he gets loads of compliments from admirers on his walks. Crew is a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling up beside you on an oversized chair—or even burrowing under the covers for a cozy nap. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and takes treats gently. His silly side shines when he’s zooming around the yard or entertaining himself by tossing toys or sticks in the air—he’s quite the solo performer! Crew has a moderate energy level and can keep himself entertained indoors. He’s dog-friendly and would do well either as an only pup or with the right canine buddy. Because he’s still learning how to regulate his excitement during play, Crew is best suited for an experienced, adult-only home with no young kids or cats. He’s generally good on a leash, but be prepared—his prey drive kicks in when a squirrel crosses his path! Crew is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means you can take some time to get to know him in your home before finalizing the adoption.
