*PEANUT

My story

The PEANUTS Gang has become the best-loved comic strip in history and our Peanut has a gang full of staff & volunteers that adore him. Peanut came to us September ’24 after being found alone near a soccer field. He was initially shy and very frightened by the noise & chaos of shelter life, but has since come out of his shell a bit (see what we did there?). Seeing him rolling upside down in the grass with his giant smile and his tongue lolling out makes our hearts smile as well. He is a big, handsome, burly boy with a bright white head, chest, legs & tail tip contrasted with a gorgeous brindle coat. He LOVES to play with toys, but we highly recommend those for tough chewers as he’s on quite a toy search & destroy mission! He appears housebroken and already knows his sit & down commands. He’s highly treat-motivated (a bit too much perhaps as he’s gained some extra pounds with us!) and would love for you to teach him new skills w/ low-cal yummies! He can be a strong puller and would benefit from a patient owner to help him improve his leash skills. We’re just nuts over this boy and we know you will be too!
