My story

*Woof* Meet met at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-7pm daily!Lovely and beautiful Rita! We have the most amazing doggie here and she is seeking a super special family to call her own. Rita gives the most loving gazes, and her eyes also reflect her smarts! Yes, this breed is known for their ability to keep their owners on their toes. Rita needs active and frisky adopters to keep up with her busy lifestyle. Rita is also a love bug. She leans into pettings and again, and she gives those pleading puppy dog eyes to get more loving. She also loves to play with toys so get ready for lots of toy shopping in the future. Volunteers and staff LOVE working with her as she is so attentive and smart. One staff member recently commented, `Rita is so good and so smart and so wiggly! She gets Shakira hips when you talk to her!` And another volunteer shared, `I first met Rita a few months ago and can’t believe she hasn’t been snatched up by an adopter yet! She cracks me up entertaining herself with her toys in the play yards. She barely needs my help to play fetch-she’ll pickup her toy, throw it around, and chase it on repeat. While she’s energetic and an absolute doll and total sweetheart. All she needs is an outlet for her energy and intelligence! She is super friendly and, as far as I’m aware, gets along well with every human she meets. As a plus, she’s also absolutely gorgeous! Also petite enough to crawl up next to you on the bed or couch!` How cute is that?!? Alaskan Klee Kais are known for having high prey drives and lots of energy. We recommend that she not go home with small dogs or cats. She wants to be the queen of the castle and that’s ok!
