My story

Spangles is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Spangles is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support when home alone More about Spangles: Housebroken: He has been doing well overall with housebreaking, when on a consistent routine with frequent potty breaks, but can still have accidents. He'll need to keep working on this as he adjusts to his new home. Crate trained: He has struggled to settle when home alone, and has done best with the help of medication. Without meds, he is distressed and cannot settle; with meds, he has been able to be left at home alone in his crate successfully for 1-2 hours. Leash walking: Working on it! He can become easily overstimulated on walks, and would likely do best in a slightly quieter area. Dog social: He has done great with the senior dog in his foster home, with whom he loves to play and snuggle. He would likely enjoy having a dog pal in his future home, to help his confidence and provide him companionship. Cat social: He lives with cats in his foster home and has been doing well with them after a slow, proper intro period. Kid friendly: Unknown Spangles likes: - Playing with his dog (or cat!) pals - Puzzle toys and training! This smart boy loves to use his brain, especially when treats are involved. - Making you giggle with his antics and poses Spangles is a silly, playful pup who is an *excellent* snuggler. He's a very gracious house guest who gets along with the resident dog and two resident cats in his foster home. He definitely knows his doggy manners when it comes to other pets, which has helped him fit right in. He has many wonderful, goofy poses for "dog assembly required" memes and will keep you laughing all day! Spangles does not love being home without his people, and would appreciate a patient adopter who can help him continue to work on his separation distress as he adjusts to his new home and routine. Spangles's adoption fee is $300, and he is eager to snuggle up with his future family!
