Meet Puttin’ on the Ritz!This charming 6-year-old orange tabby may have a fancy name, but he’s really just a goofy, lovable guy with a delightfully awkward personality. Ritz has been through a lot—found abandoned and badly beaten up by other cats after his previous owners moved away and left him behind. But this resilient boy has learned to trust again and is ready for a fresh start.Ritz is FIV+ and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe. Sudden movements and loud noises can startle him, but once he warms up, he’s a total cuddle bug who purrs like a motor and soaks up affection.He may be wary of other cats due to his past, but with slow introductions and kind companions, he can learn to live peacefully with feline friends. We may never know exactly what he’s endured, but what matters now is giving him the loving, secure home he’s been waiting for.If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful boy with lots of love to give, Puttin’ on the Ritz might just be your perfect match.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
