She arrived as a stray, unsure of her surroundings and carrying more weight than she probably should—physically and emotionally. But as the days turned into weeks and months, Misty settled in and started to show us just how special she really is.She’s silly, expressive, and totally obsessed with her stuffie toys. Nothing makes her light up like a new squeaky friend. She’s not big on sharing them, but we don’t mind—everyone deserves a little joy that’s all their own. Misty leans in close for affection, keeps her kennel impressively tidy, and has a way of looking at you that says, “I’ve got a lot of love to give, if you’ll just give me the chance.” We can’t say for certain if she’s housebroken, but the way she keeps her space clean gives us every reason to believe she’s got good habits.Misty would do best in a cat-free home with kids 12 and up. She hasn’t had many dog meets, but with a slow, thoughtful introduction, she may be open to a new friend. She’s been overlooked for far too long, and we just know her person is out there.
