My story

Meet Boulder! Boulder is a handsome and affectionate boy who’s ready to start the next chapter of his life in a loving forever home. Surrendered by his previous owner, Boulder is now looking for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate his loyal heart, playful spirit, and snuggly nature. With a moderate energy level, Boulder strikes a great balance between being active and relaxed. He loves a good play session—whether it’s tossing around toys, going for a walk, or playing with other dogs—but he’s just as happy to curl up for some quality cuddle time when the fun winds down. Boulder gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he does have a protective streak when it comes to his food and toys. He can be toy possessive and food protective, which means he’ll do best in a home with an experienced owner who understands how to set clear boundaries, provide consistent training, and manage these behaviors calmly and confidently. While he may not be the best fit for a home with small children due to these tendencies, in the right hands, Boulder is a trainable and responsive dog who’s eager to grow and improve. He already knows a few basic skills and is ready to learn more—he’s a smart, attentive boy who thrives with structure, routine, and positive reinforcement. Boulder is deeply affectionate with his people and loves being close, often leaning in for snuggles and resting his head on your lap. His bond with his humans is strong and heartfelt, and he’ll gladly be your loyal shadow throughout the day.
