DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Kira is a beautiful Border Collie ready for her very own forever home. She is the epitome of her breed—intelligent, loyal, energetic, and protective—making her best suited for a family familiar with Border Collies. Kira knows her commands, has perfected her game of fetch, and is always up for an adventure! While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she may need a little extra time to warm up to new canine friends. With people, Kira plays hard to get at first—strangers can be intimidating to her, and she needs time to build trust. After a few visits, she will bond and reveal her goofy, affectionate side with you! Because of her social challenges, Kira is featured as one of ARF's "Diamond in the Ruff," just waiting for the right person to see the gem she truly is!
