My story

Meet ANGIE  – A Regal Beauty -Very sweet and loves people!     Quite a Presence!  Easy to keep; wonderful companion!   A  stunning gray-striped girl with a white chest, tall and strong.   Her sweet, expressive face and  dark eyeliner , and gentle personality are sure to capture your heart.   LAP SITTER; SO friendly. MUST have a home by May 30. In temp Foster by wonderful student who leaves for summer. Angie does NOT have a place to go.  No good alternatives.  Rescue house is full; will pay $100 for first month -  just to do a trial! LAP SITTER , BIG TALKER, TV WATCHER, SMART AND ANSWERS TO HER NAME, GREAT COMPANION! EASY Cat to keep - LOW Maintenance. Prefers  a household with one or two adults!  She likes for you to talk with her; will respond with squeals and meows; will lounge gracefully on the sofa with you, head butt, and be a great pet. She needs a kind heart willing to give her a chance. Very healthy but FIV positive - had to fight for any food on the street and was obviously attacked by Tom cat!  FIV cats can live normal lives.  She is cat reactive or bossy, being on the street and living with feral cats, and WILL eat all the food left out. Grateful for Indoor Life: After surviving on the streets, Angie treasures the comfort and love of a safe home.   Her Journey Angie’s story is one of strength and survival: Angie’s life has been one of resilience and survival. She was abandoned not once, but twice. Originally adopted from DeKalb County Animal Control in 2023, her adopter disappeared, contact info out of date; leaving her to fend for herself OUTSIDE on the streets for over a year. While living among feral cats, she had to fight for every scrap of food, often approaching kind feeders, desperate for a kind touch. Despite her struggles, Angie never stopped seeking love. It took our rescue team over 7 months to rescue her, but once inside, Angie immediately transformed into a loving house cat. Now, she’s ready for a real home. Health Details Age:  4 years old FIV-Positive: Angie is FIV-positive, but shows zero symptoms. She is healthy and will remain healthy with an inside life and decent food. FIV cats can live long, happy, normal lives. Rescue WILL SUPPORT ANGIE if any health issues happen (we don't expect any!) Spayed & Microchipped FELV  - Feline Leukemia Negative Vaccinations: Fully up-to-date Health: Excellent teeth! No dental issue in sight. What Angie Need Angie would do best in a one cat household.  She is fairly assertive with other cats and eats their food having starved before!  How to Help Angie Find Her Happy Ending Are you ready to be the hero who gives this beautiful girl the love and comfort she’s been waiting for? Email (Preferred): awhar09@gmail.com Call/Text Janet: 404-520-1060 Visit: www.awhar.org All cats are guaranteed as far as health, and we take them back now or in the future if not a fit!! AWHAR will guarantee Angie's health for two years and will pay for vet visits.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2025, 8:51 am
