Jaque

My story

This handsome lil' dude is Jaque! He's a 6 year old Small Mixed Breed that would love a place to call home. He was found wandering the streets in a rural area and was picked up and brought to safety. He's a little nervous at first, but warms up quickly if you baby talk him. Jaque has very soft velvet like ears and the cutest little brown spots all over his white coat. We've introduced him to some other small dogs, he does well and actually becomes more confident in himself when around his canine friends. He's very respectful with his canine friends, but we always encourage scheduling a meet-n-greet with current dogs in the home, just in case. He's adjusted very well to the shelters potty routine and schedule, but will need some time to learn his new families. He walks well on the leash, but we've learned he's more confident on a harness. He's neutered, current on his vaccinations. heartworm tested negative, and microchipped.
