My story

Meet Buttons the 1yr domestic shorthair! If Buttons was a dog, he would be a golden retriever! Buttons is a VERY cuddly and outgoing boy. He always wants to be by his humans' side and loves rubbing against you to show you how much he loves you! When he's not being a cuddle bug, he loves perching on his cat towers, napping around the house and of course batting around his favorite toys. Although he is a very cuddly boy, he tends to get nervous when picked up. He much prefers to keep all four of his paws on the ground! Buttons was originally found as a stray in very bad condition. He was recently diagnosed with a bacterial infection called Mycoplasma. This can cause him to have flare ups of respiratory symptoms (runny eyes, runny nose, sneezing). There is a chance that he has flare ups randomly throughout his lifetime, requiring meds. Other than potential flare ups, he is your normal kitty with no additional special needs. Buttons would do well in almost any home and would also do great in a home with children. He would absolutely love to have a kitty companion in his new home; however, this is not required. He does well with dogs, as long as they respect his space. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped.
