Meet Dutton – A One-of-a-Kind Pup with a Heart of Gold! Dutton isn’t just any dog—he’s a special fellow with a story of resilience and a heart full of love. This 8-month-old shepherd mix survived the shelter and is now ready to find a forever home where he can truly shine. Though he may be a little shy at first, give him a little time, and you’ll see his playful, affectionate personality blossom. Dutton is a natural explorer, walking beautifully on a leash and always eager to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the world around him. But when the adventure is over, he heads back home to do what he does best—collect his favorite toys! He fancies himself a bit of a toy wrangler, rounding them all up and keeping them close, just like a rancher tending to his herd. He’s the perfect companion for a home with other animals—he adores his two foster dog siblings and even enjoys the company of cats. And when it’s time to wind down for the night, Dutton’s manners are second to none. Without even being told, he trots right into his crate, sits patiently, and waits for it to be closed. If you say “crate” at any time, he heads right in—no fuss, no whining, just pure loyalty and trust. Dutton recently won a battle with mites, and while his fur is still growing back in, it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. His spirit is as strong as ever, and his sweetness knows no bounds. Dutton is ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter with a family who will love him for the incredible dog he is.
