My story

Beckham, our handsome and quirky 1-year-old Boston Terrier/Pit Bull mix, is waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy weighs around 45ish lbs and is full of playful energy. But life hasn't been easy for Beckham so far - he was surrendered by his previous owners along with his brothers. The pups had very little socialization and were dirty, underweight and scared of everything! Despite his rough start, Beckham is an affectionate and curious pup who just needs a little extra patience and love to come out of his shell. He may be shy with new situations and people, but once he warms up, he'll shower you with all the love and attention you could want. Beckham will need slow and easy introductions with all things new, people and dogs. He may be best suited for a home with older children who can understand and respect his shy nature. With a patient and understanding family, Beckham will surely blossom into the charming companion he's meant to be. The key to Beckham and his brother will be PATIENCE, TIME, UNDERSTANDING, OPEN MINDEDNESS ( these pups had a traumatic life prior to the shelter!), ROUTINES and LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE! Beckham is neutered, we have microchipped and updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.
