My story

Temple is a 10.5 -year-old cat who came to the shelter from a hoarding situation, and she’s now looking for a quiet, experienced home where she can feel safe and loved. She can be a little nervous, especially around fast movements, and may hiss when she feels uncomfortable. However, with patience and a slow approach, Temple will eventually lean in for pets and start to trust her human. She’s food-motivated, which helps when building a bond, but she’s not a fan of being held. Temple has lived with other cats and would likely do well in a home with other mellow feline companions. Due to her timid nature, she’s best suited for a home with teens 17 and up. Temple is currently scared and shy in the shelter environment but has the potential to be a loving, low-maintenance companion with the right person.
