My story
Meet Axel, a spirited 5-year-old Lab/Shepherd/Aussie mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Axel is an active and playful dog who thrives on companionship with other dogs, so having a furry friend around would be perfect for him. While Axel is dog-friendly, he can be a bit nervous around new people and prefers not to make direct eye contact. To ensure everyone's safety, he should wear a muzzle when meeting new folks. With the right approach and time, Axel reveals his affectionate and playful side, becoming a loyal and protective companion. Axel needs a dedicated and experienced dog owner who can provide firm training and a bit of extra care. He was rescued just an hour before his scheduled euthanasia and is eager to find a loving, active home where he can truly shine.
