My story

Hi, my Name is Rome!I am a 16-year-old female ginger cat. All roads lead to Rome! All roads lead to me, me, me! I have a reputation for being a loving, darling little lady. Though I sometimes move slowly, I am a super senior who loves to play. I find comfort in familiar routines and gentle affection. I enjoy quiet and warm places. I am a social eater so when you enter my room I will probably get up to eat some food and get a drink. This is a good thing as I`m currently quite thin and need to gain weight.I have feline Coronavirus so you`ll need to put on shoe coverings and gloves to visit with me, and you must visit me last. That small effort is worth it to hang out with `this precious little nugget` - that`s what one of my favorite volunteers said. Please come visit me, this sweet Golden Girl can`t wait to meet you!If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter to meet me!The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
