My story

Description: Hopps is a tricolor Husky - Cattle Dog Mix, of approximately one year old. He has lots of spots, a white tuxedo, and one of his eyes is half blue. Personality : Hopps is a good boy ! He has a super sweet disposition and loves belly rubs. He looks like he has a permanent smile on his face, usually with his tongue hanging out. He understands you, tries to talk to you, and is a good listener. He gives hugs and kisses and is excited to be alive. He wants to greet every stranger and play with every dog. No formal introductions required, he is everyone's friend immediately. He loves to go on walks and does well on a leash and in the car. The vets commented on how easy and cooperative he was to give vaccines. As long as he is getting attention he is happy. He is passive with other dogs and is just curious about them. Background: Hopps was found wandering inside of a CVS pharmacy on 1960 on a rainy day. One customer was willing to grab him and take him to get scanned for a microhip. He did not have one. His finder posted on the Nextdoor app about the found dog but no one responded. So they kept him in their backyard for 2 months while they tried to find a rescue to take him, because they didnt want to dump him at a big animal shelter with an unknown fate. Email us at GNARHouston@gmail.com to inquire about adoption!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hopps, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
