My story

Hi, I'm Toby! I might be a little shy when we first meet but give me just a moment and I’ll be climbing into your lap asking for belly rubs. My favorite things are cuddles, cozy naps, and gazing out the window while barking at the world outside. I may be mellow, but I’m still your classic Pom—I’ve always got something to say, especially when I spot a squirrel or hear a strange noise! I’ve been through a lot, so I’m looking for a calm, patient family that can help me feel safe and settled. I do well with other respectful, slow-moving dogs, but I’m not sure how I feel about cats just yet. A quiet home with a gentle routine would be perfect for me. I'm still working on potty training and getting the hang of leash walking, but I’m a kennel pro and eager to learn! I also don’t mind car rides—I'm happy to come along for the trip as long as I get to be near you.
