My story

Seamus is a 1 year-old mixed breed dog who weighs 45 lbs. If you are looking for a dog who will fit in with your active lifestyle, Seamus could be a great match for you! Seamus is a high-energy dog who easily becomes overstimulated. When excited, he will mouth and jump at people. He does settle well in a home, but will need the help of extra enrichments, exercise, and training to reduce his mouthy behaviors. Seamus does great with other dogs and would likely benefit from having another dog in the home that he can play with. Seamus is an intelligent, fun-loving dog who still has a lot to learn. He is looking for an experienced adopter who is willing to put lots of time and energy into his training. When meeting Seamus, he will become excitable and will likely start to mouth at you. But, he does listen very well, and will respond to a firm `no.` Due to these behaviors, we recommend that he be adopted to a home with more mature children who can understand and participate in his training. Seamus will be a wonderful adventure companion, and he is ready to find a home that fits his needs!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Seamus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
