SOLDIER*

My story

Soldier is a friendly, affectionate pup who would probably get kicked out of bootcamp on Day 1 due to his playful, goofy antics! A former short-term foster shared that one of Soldier’s favorite activities is to throw his toy down the stairs and run to get it, over and over again! This cuddly pup also earned a great report on a day trip, with a new friend sharing that he is both energetic and calm, snuggly, sweet, and loving! They also shared that Soldier was social and friendly, enjoyed playing outdoors and with toys, and could also be a mellow couch potato and just relax with the family. “Soldier met so many people and was very friendly to all of them. Overall, he is such a good boy and we loved him so much.”Another friend said:“Soldier is the sweetest dog ever! He is pretty high energy, especially when meeting new people, but he eventually settles down and loves to cuddle. He`s so funny because he thinks he is a tiny lap dog, it`s adorable. He loves all people and I wish I could keep him because he`s such a good dog.”During a short adoption Soldier reportedly did well with small and large dogs, was housebroken, and was described as affectionate and playful. Soldier also spent time in another foster homer- here’s what they said:- Soldier did well with older kids- He did well in a crate for bedtime and when left home alone- He loves belly rubs and sitting next to his person on the couch- He loves throwing toys in air and then catching them himself and enjoys tug-o-war - He has young puppy energy and likes walks and running around the yard- He is gentle, playful, intelligent, and sweet- He watches TV with his ears tuned in to listen “Soldier is such a happy guy who brings a smile to everyone`s face.
