My story

Luma is a gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to shine. This beautiful German Shepherd mix came to Furkids with her puppies, and now that they’ve all found their forever homes, it’s her turn to find a family to call her own. At almost 6 years old, Luma is a lower-energy girl who enjoys the simple things in life—soft beds, quiet moments, and cuddling up with the people she trusts. She’s house and crate trained, good with other dogs, and incredibly smart—she picks up new commands quickly! But Luma is also very shy and needs a patient adopter who will give her the time and space to build confidence at her own pace. Because of her timid nature, she’d do best in a calm home without small children. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who just needs a little patience to blossom, Luma is ready to meet you. Luma weighs 85lbs., is approximately 5 years old (est. birth date 06/24/2019), and her adoption fee is $185. Luma has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
