My story

Giselle went on a field trip with another volunteer today and had the best time. Her fieldtripper said: -Giselle is sweet with people once she warms up to you -Takes treats nicely-Loves pup cups -Gives kisses-Walks nicely on a leash-Jumps right in the car-A little restless in the car at first but eventually settles down -Nervous when greeted by new people but she tries to be brave. -She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. -Heartworm negative - She has been in a foster home since September and acclimated to being in a home. -Would benefit from a confident fursibling to show her the ropes.!2/17 update by foster: “Hi! I'm Giselle and I'm a 1.5 year old Lab mix who is UTD on my shots, spayed, heartworm negative, and full of life, love, and energy. I'm in a foster home now with cats and another dog, and I get along great with them. I am crate trained, house broken, and enjoying stealing a nap on the couch during the day. I'm great on a leash and love a squishy, squeaky toy (so, so much). I'm learning how to play fetch (I haven't mastered the drop part of it yet), but like Forrest Gump, I love to run!!! I run around the yard, to my water bowl, to the couch, to my crate. I also am very aware of what a "pretty girl" I am, so you'll need to be prepared to shower me with the affection and toys that all "pretty girls" deserve.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Giselle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
