Hello, I'm Lizzie! I've got a sweet spirit that fills the room and a friendly demeanor that can brighten anyone's day. I'm gentle to the touch, offering loving nudges to those who need it. I'm loyal, always by your side when you need a companion. My smarts shine through in my charming quirks. I'm mellow and independent, content with a quiet corner and a soft bed. But don't be fooled, I'm also quite the cuddle bug, always up for a good snuggle. My soulful eyes speak volumes, reflecting a depth of understanding that only a loving heart can comprehend. I promise to be your faithful friend, your confidante, your ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. This pet is eligible for the PETS FOR PATRIOTS adoption program. Adoption Process If you are ready to meet the pet, please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10666/generic Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills. A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.   The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about her likes, dislikes, and little quirks.  The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you’re ready to take the pet home as your furry forever friend, her adoption fee is being sponsored by a generous volunteer. ##2038075##
