My story

Maryland was surrendered to Pinal County Animal Care and Control last summer when another rescue closed its doors. She’s a resilient girl who has sadly spent much of her life in a shelter environment or confined to a crate and routine lifestyle.But that’s not the end of her story — it's just the beginning of her journey to healing and hope. For the past 8 months, Maryland has been soaking up love and care at ANM, and she’s become the sweet, affectionate companion we know and adore. Despite all her progress, she still hasn’t received a single adoption application. Why Maryland is special: 🐾 Loves cuddles and attention 🐾 Energetic, playful, and active 🐾 Knows basic commands and is improving on leash skills 🐾 Takes treats gently 🐾 Would prefer to be the only pet in the home
