Meet Thelma Lou – The Sweetest Shadow You'll Ever Have 🐾❤️ Thelma Lou is a gentle, loving hound mix who's been stealing hearts in her foster home since fall (A LONG time, right?!). She’s a total sweetheart who adores her humans and wants nothing more than to be close- she's a certified shadow who lives for belly rubs and quiet companionship. Crate and house trained, she’s incredibly polite about letting you know when she needs to go out, and she’s as calm and well-mannered as they come. She gets along wonderfully with the two large resident dogs in her foster home, snuggling up with them for naps and enjoying group walks with her gentle lead. Thelma Lou is a slow eater and is still figuring out treats as well! This lovely girl is ready for a home that can offer her love, structure, and safety. She should not be in a home with small animals due to her strong prey drive, and while she has jumped a 5-foot fence in the past, she does beautifully on leash walks. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will quietly follow you from room to room and melt into your lap for love, Thelma Lou just might be your perfect match. 🐶💕
