My story

Silk was abandoned by his “family” and left to fend for himself on the streets. As you can see in the video, he started trying to follow people home while they were walking their dogs. We were devastated when we saw this, and knew we had to help him. Silk is now thriving in a foster home where he has been neutered and vaccinated, only to just find out that he has FELV and FIV, which means he can’t live with other cats. But Silk can live with dogs—and he loves them! Being positive for both of these very manageable viruses will shorten his lifespan, but Silk still has time left and we want to give him the best possible home to make up for what he’s been through in his young life.. Now he just needs a REAL family who will give him the home he deserves. This 1-2 year old boy is very special and his new family will be very lucky!
