Minala - Lab/Pittie Mix - Female - 1.5 yr - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Minala: this delightful little girl was found stray after Hurricane Beryl in pretty good condition, without ID and no owner claimed her, so she was likely purposefully abandoned. She has now been fully vetted and we are getting to know her personality. She is about 1.5 yr old, a great medium size and very friendly and affectionate with all people. She is crate and house trained, so far ignores the cats and is interested in playing with the other dogs, she is doing well with her current playmate. We have discovered that she LOVES to swim, so access to a pool would likely be appreciated and makes for great exercise in hot weather. Minala seems like a moderately energetic dog who is pretty easy going, she loves attention and affection, would love to sit on your lap or on the sofa next to you. She responds well to verbal requests and corrections, and would do well in a house with another dog of similar size and energy. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
