My story

Meet Marc Anthony! Marc Anthony is an 19-month-old 50 lb neutered male hound mix who has come a long way in his almost year of foster care, including recent work with Tayah of To the Point Dog Training. This smart, athletic, and loyal pup has blossomed into a confident, social, and well-mannered dog. In his foster home, Marc has mastered leash walking (both on and off leash), crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. He has excellent social skills with other dogs, greeting new pups confidently and learning the ropes of pack life. What’s most remarkable is how far he’s come from his early days—arriving terrified of strangers, especially children, and reactive to many new sights and experiences. Marc Anthony thrives with mental and physical stimulation and would do best with calm, consistent leadership. He would flourish in a home with other dogs, though he could also be an only dog if he receives regular opportunities for dog socialization. He’s best suited for a home without cats or small children. With the right family, Marc Anthony will be a loving, playful, and devoted companion who brings energy, intelligence, and heart to every day. He’s ready for his forever home—and he’s ready to shine. Adopter Profile:&#226&#128&#139 Dog experience required / large breed experience preferred No cats preferred  Fenced yard preferred Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test, and microchip. Adoption includes take home training and support from To The Point Dog Training. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Mark Anthony, Cleo and Alexander were born in March 2024 in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. Sadly, they were found on a property tied to trees with only barrels for shelter in the sweltering heat. Our rescue partners at Furry Freight were alerted to their conditions and reached out to see if we could help and we had to say yes! He arrived to us 7/21/24 very fearful, and after a stint in 'regular' foster care made his way to To the Point Dog Training in Tacoma to get some professional help with basic training and confidence building. He is now available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. March 12, 2026, 9:20 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mark Anthony, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
