My story

Are you looking for your dog(s) new best friend? Look no further, Locket is your girl! Locket finds her confidence with other doggie friends & is currently best friends with her furry foster sibling! Locket has made tremendous progress since moving into a foster home. She`s on the timid side, but there is a sweet & silly personality shining that shines through! She perks up most for playtime with other dogs (her zoomies are the cutest). Building a relationship with her takes patience, but is incredibly rewarding. Locket would be content to roll in the grass, parade around with sticks & chase squirrels in the backyard all day, but she also enjoys watching out the front window, or working on a bone in her crate. Meal time is an occasion for some adorable tap dancing. (how cute is that?)Locket`s crate training is rock solid & she is potty trained with a routine! (checking all your boxes right?) She is working hard on leash skills, baths & car rides. (we all gotta practice something!)Locket will do best in a quiet, low traffic home where she can continue to build confidence at her pace. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
