My story

Hey there it's Tailwinds! I'm a seasoned gentleman a bit older and wiser, looking for my forever home! I'm a mixed breed fella medium-sized and I've got a heart of gold! They found me wandering the streets of Okeechobee, a bit lost and lonely. But don't worry, those days are behind me! I'm all settled in now and ready for some serious snuggles! I'm a real sweetheart always up for a good cuddle session, I also love a nice leisurely walk, I'm great on a leash, so we can explore the neighborhood together at my own pace, I'm also potty trained and have the best manners – you'll be so proud of me! I'm not a puppy anymore, so I prefer a quieter home with older folks or older kids who understand that I need my space and boundaries I like to take things easy. I love my doggie friends to run and play with so a canine companion would be a bonus! I'm a bit of a homebody and enjoy the peace and quiet. I used to be a bit protective of my food when I first came to the shelter but that was just fear talking I'm a good boy now and have become so trusting and loving to all with no issues anymore! if you're looking for a loving companion who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and lots of cuddles, I'm your guy!
