My story

Pumpkin is a gentle and timid soul who thrives in a nurturing environment, especially one with playful dogs to help her come out of her shell. After showing great progress in her recent foster home, she is ready for a loving family that can provide the reassurance and support she needs to gain confidence. If you have the love and patience to help her grow into her best self, Pumpkin could be the perfect companion for you.Update: Shelter volunteers are getting Pumpkin out for car rides, trips to Rural King, and working on her confidence. She sure learns quickly. Give this little gal a chance, she has been in the shelter too long.Pumpkin is one year old and weighs 51 pounds.The adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.helpingstrays.org
