My story

Estelle is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey on our website to learn more about her and schedule a phone call or meet and greet with her foster. Estelle is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support More about Estelle: Housebroken: Doing well overall when on a consistent routine Crate trained: She has done well in her crate when home alone for up to a full workday. She has also done well overall with free roam, but can be more sensitive to noises in the building. Leash walking: She is reactive to other dogs, people, and cars quickly driving by. She would do best in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood and with continued training to work on this. Dog social: Estelle has seemed comfortable with some but not all other dogs, and will need to be the only dog in her future home Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Likely not a match, as she can be nervous with new people Estelle likes: - Snuggling, cuddling, and giving kisses - Using her brain to solve puzzle toys and learn new things - Playing tug and burning off some energy Estelle is an extremely smart and affectionate pup who is always looking out for you! She lives for cuddle time, and will always accept any belly rubs you have to offer her. Her underbite is not noticeable at first but it gives her a perpetual puppy pout that is just to die for. A sensitive gal, Estelle is likely a better fit for an adult-only home where she'll be given time, space and treats when meeting new people. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home, and to live in a quiet neighborhood where she won't encounter too many triggers on walks, given her leash reactivity. She would also appreciate an adopter who can provide her with plenty of mental enrichment to help channel her energy in positive ways! Estelle's adoption fee has been sponsored by generous supporters, and she is eager to cuddle up with her forever family! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Estelle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
