Komiya & Meeriah Catey

My story

Meeriah Catey and Komiya are two beyond adorable cats who love their people, love to play, sleep in cozy spots, and sometimes cuddle their human(s).  Meeriah Catey is more outwardly affectionate as the orange heart sized mark in the fur on the top of her charming head may indicate. If you’re working at home during the day, she’ll come check on you and wait for some scritches in between her long naps. If you’re out for a while, she’ll come greet you near the door. Meeriah may seem shy at first, but she’ll quickly decide she actually has a lot she wants to chat with you about! Komiya is quiet but curious and a bit mischievous. You’ll notice her two different-colored eyes first and darker fur on her head than Meeriah. Komiya’s stares are long and her hunting instincts sharp – she can take down a fluttering plastic butterfly or bat around a toy mouse like no other. Komiya’s most charming trait is that she often gets so excited that she can’t contain it in her tiny body and her tail vibrates! With a little time, you’ll feel greatly rewarded once you earn their trust – you’ll get velcro bedtime cuddles with Meeriah and strong headbutts from Komiya. Komiya will even purr so much that she drools a little! Here’s a tip to turn on their motors: give them some back scratches and then pet their fur smooth, they will start to purr about five times the volume of their size.  March 11, 2025, 4:30 pm
