My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Anya (TX) is a female terrier mix rescued in Texas.  Our veterinary partner estimates that Anya is 3 years old at the time of intake in March 2024.  Anya is good with people and dogs.  This little bundle was found in a neglected house with many others. ecause of her previous living conditions, she just wants to be close and curls up on your lap for security and cuddles. Since she wants to be with her himan all the time she would be best in a home by herself so she can have your undivided attention. Anya's foster mom reports she loves to run and play in her fenced in yard with her up siblings. She is shy at first but once she warms up she will stay by your side. She is ready to break hearts with her cuteness. he sheds very little if at all. She was found with 98 other hoarded dogs, she will take time to adjust but wouldn’t anyone coming from that situation she has been through some tough situations and will need a lot of patience understanding and love. Right now small children would be too fast and too loud for her. She will run and play with other dogs don’t let her shyness fool you. She is a “beautiful baby girl” looking for a loving patient forever home and a couch to snuggle with someone. If you can show Anya love and welcome her into your family, please apply online to adopt Anya (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.    RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2025, 1:52 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Anya (TX), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
