My story

Meet Tina Tuna — The Grouchy Diva Who’s Too Cool for the CageIntroducing Tina Tuna: a cat with attitude, a sharp tongue, and a backstory that’s truly something to behold. Surrendered in a stinky live trap filled to the brim with tuna (and her incredibly ungrateful children), Tina is no stranger to life’s hard knocks. But don’t let that tough exterior fool you — underneath it all, she’s a softie in disguise (we promise).Tina puts on a good show, acting all gruff and grumpy like she’s the queen of the world, but deep down, she’s just a middle-aged woman who’s had enough. Sure, she’ll side-eye you like you owe her money, but if you pick her up (against her will, of course), she’ll let you hold her like a baby. Yes, folks — she’s that good at pretending she doesn’t enjoy it, but we’ve seen it. It’s like a calm, quiet protest. She’s looking for someone who understands her need for personal space but is also ready to respect her diva ways. Tina doesn’t need to be smothered — she just wants her tuna (preferably on her terms) and a warm, quiet spot to judge the world from. She’ll let you pet her, sometimes, and she might even allow you to be in the same room as her, as long as you know your place. If you’re ready for a cat with attitude, a touch of sass, and the occasional cuddle (when she decides it’s time), Tina Tuna is waiting for you to earn her respect — or at least bring her a fresh can of tuna.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tuna Tina, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
