My story

Meet Miya! A gentle young soul looking for a family she can spend lots of time cuddling with! Her primary love language is physical touch, often leaning into her persons arms to soak up all the love she can. This sweet girl also loves to learn new tricks to make her people happy. Miya has good leash manners and recall and is learning other basics such as 'Sit' and 'Wait'.  Having grown up here at the shelter, Miya is very well dog socialized and would likely do well in a multi-dog household. She loves to run around and wrestle her doggy friends as well as play keep away with her toys.  Miya is the last of her litter looking for her forever home. She was the only one of the group who inherited that signature Ridgeback 'Ridge'. We aren't sure why she has been so overlooked but maybe she is just waiting for her special family to come along! While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       May 28, 2025, 7:14 pm
